Summer Basketball League has been CANCELLED!!!

It is my regret to inform everyone that has been anticipating to play for this summer league basketball that we are CANCELLING the event due to the Failure in reaching an agreement with the Facility. The terms under the agreement were reachable, but require the team's approval to proceed. Furthermore, at such short notice, beyond our control, and lack of discussion we came to the conclusion to delay for review.

The terms that was presented to us require an increase in fee as well as rescheduling the specified time slots. The Time slots were not the same as our conventional Sunday game schedule. It required teams to play on evening slots, as well as reducing the number of games per team. We guaranteed every team Seven Games. We intended to adhere to the promised terms. However, the facility has reduced the number of games as well as the Division Set-up.

Again, we apologize for this news. We exhausted every possible venue within our resources, but ultimately we needed everyone to have the time to look at the changes as well as possible increase in fees.

We don't know where we stand at the moment, or the future of our organization. We are at the mercy of the Facilities around our area, as well as the commitment of every team.

Please do not hesitate to contact Tom or I for questions or suggestions. Utilize our forum to have a substantial discussions on how to proceed forward. I often keep reminding everyone that no decision is made without the consent of the participants. This is your League. You should have the opportunity to participate in the decisions as well.

D-Town showed up with the strenght and enthusiasm, defeating the always dangerous Flipside in the Finals.

Team Flipside 2010 Winter/Spring Pacific Rim Open Runner-Up

Always a pleasure to watch this young team play. Undersized, but not lacking in skills or perseverance. Flipside gave it all they had against D-Town.

We extend all our congratulations to the teams that made it to the Playoffs. We also would like to extend all our thanks to the teams that made this season possible. We hope that everyone enjoyed the season. We are looking forward to the next season.

Please continue to send your requests and suggestions as to how to make the league much better.

ONLY THE ATHLETES ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE WATER BOTTLE/GATORADE INSIDE THE SPORTS FACILITY. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
